About @davedonohue
Thanks for clicking through from my Twitter profile. If you’re trying to decide whether or not to follow me, here’s some information about the person behind the 140 characters:
I work at OutCast Communications. I’ve worked in the tech sector for 13 years, and in tech PR for the last 10. My background is in enterprise hardware and software but I use Web 2.0 services every day. I generally don’t use Twitter to pitch clients, but I do engage in discussions of technology and social media. I read, watch, or listen to the people I pitch before I even think of contacting them via any medium. When I leave the PR world, I’ll still follow 90% of the people I read now, because I love this stuff.
Most of my personal tweets are about music (listening, not playing), travel, books, politics, and tech stuff I am building/modifying/breaking at home. Expect anything from praise for David Byrne, Neil Diamond and Phish to frustrations with Linux installs.
